An Invitation…
A few years ago, I went to one of the most magical places in Costa Rica for a women's retreat.
It was a deeply healing & clarifying experience for me.
Not only was I surrounded by some of the most supportive souls, but I was immersed in the kind of nature that takes your breath away, in the heart of the Costa Rican jungle.
I'd head down to the river in the morning, lay on the big rocks, listen to the water & hear myself in ways I wasn't able to in the rush of daily life.
We'd gather in circle in the evenings & share our deep, down truths & desires.
We'd move our bodies to yoga in the morning, close our eyes & listen to music in the evenings, chat around the fire.
That nurtured & that full, I was able to hear what I really wanted & needed on such a heartfelt level.

Jamie Alger
The little girl in me is giddy that we get to play in the jungle together for a week. And the woman I am is giddy as well. I have been holding space for lovely humans to feel, heal, and create for over five years. My own healing has come in unconventional ways: traveling, dancing, ceremony, therapy, nature, astrology, community, rest. The list goes on and on. We get to be creative with our lives. We get to try things on and see how they feel. I am so honored you have decided that this retreat is something you want to try. And I am so excited to weave together and offer you many of the elements that I have found to be healing, inspiring, and magical on this retreat. I firmly believe you hold all of your answers within. My speciality? Creating the perfect environment for you to HEAR those answers & step into the most radiant & empowered version of yourself. Get ready to sit back and receive.
Susan Swearingen
I am so honored to be part of your magical entry into the wild jungle as a portal to reconnect with yourself, your voice and to come alive in your own skin. Having been through my own portal of midlife, I offer myself as a modern elder who approaches life with curiosity, wonder and open heartedness which I revel in sharing with women. I can’t wait to foster each and everyone’s true nature on your retreat through my own passion for mindful living through mindfulness practices, guided meditation and yoga!

I remember going to Finca Mia for my fist ever Women’s retreat over four years ago and being forever changed by the power of not only the land but the deep opportunity to go within and allow myself to shine and be seen and held by sisters on the same journey of healing and reconnection to their light. Since then I have gone through so much growth and intend to keep on deepening it through the gifts I will be offering during our time together. I will be offering the gift of sacred song, one that connects us to spirit and the divine resonance deep within to heal, release and reflect. And I will be offering Goddess Sessions, which is a time dedicated to you and the documentation of your unique beauty, capturing the essence that makes you YOU, and allowing yourself to receive the gift of being seen and celebrated for who you are.
